South, South 2, East and East 2 lecture halls in Bulger Communication Center have received a facelift. The reconstruction work included installation of new carpet, furniture and handrails, and painting. Acoustic panels were added for better sound absorption. Power was added into the tables of every other row in rooms South and East.
In addition to these updates, North, West, and West 2 received new projectors, wide projection screens, and upgrades in wiring to allow for high definition protected content to be displayed within the rooms. North, South, East and West lecture halls in Bulger have been upgraded to be high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) ready.
This project allowed for our largest and most heavily used classrooms to be upgraded to the same standards as the rest of our general purpose classrooms. The project benefits the campus and community at large: Every student will have at least one class in this building before graduation, and these rooms are also used by the broader community.
