Buffalo State and Buffalo Public Schools (BPS) are partnering to bring a Buffalo public high school, Leonardo DaVinci High School, to our campus, focused on students who want to pursue higher education.

Buckham Hall was originally designed as a K-8 Buffalo Public Elementary school and learning lab for Buffalo State education students. BPS left the building in 2011 and parts are being used for surge for Buffalo State capital projects, the Child Care Center, Sponsored Programs, and academic departments.

BPS will occupy the third floor A-wing, D-wing, and E-wing (all currently unoccupied) and share some circulation space between wings.  BPS exclusive main entrance will be in the A-wing lobby.  BPS will pay for all the design and construction costs. Any resulting relationship will be guided by agreements outlining terms, responsibilities, and costs.
