Ketchum Hall was built in 1929 and was last renovated in 1964. It is one of the five original buildings of the campus and currently houses general-purpose classrooms, and the English and Exceptional Education departments. Most building systems are beyond their useful life, making maintenance difficult. The existing layout of the building does not meet current pedagogy and campus needs.
A concept study was completed in 2023 for a full interior renovation, including a program study and revised layout to include general purpose classrooms, academic departments, student lounges, and collaborative space. All building systems would be replaced, and toilet rooms, sprinklers, and air conditioning would be added. The campus awaits funding for design.
