Bulger Communication Center was built in 1966 and is the main lecture hall on our campus. It is about 88,000 square feet, including a basement and four floors above ground. All building systems are beyond their useful life. In addition to classes, Bulger is heavily used by on- and off-campus groups.
A study was completed in 2023 to renovate the mechanical systems. The project is anticipated to begin design later this year, which includes a scope of replacement of all MEP/FP, window, and entrance door systems; renovation of toilet rooms; renovation of upper and main lobby lighting, finishes, and furniture; and upgrade of technology in the lecture halls.
